I was able to spend two hours on the Intown median field this morning before I had to give my son a ride to work . I squeaked another old copper ( 1800 draped bust cent )out of the oyster shell dump that is under about 6 inches of fill dirt. The coin was another 3 inches below what I believe is the original soil grade. 2 buckles and my last find of the day is this removeable brass cover with a small latch hook to keep it on !! With a Patent date of 1865 ?? THANKS FOR LOOKING MaineRelic
