I was going through my junk pouch from this past weekend and re examined this old fuse. Ironically I throw these out often as part of my job doing service change outs and usually pay no heed when I dig them as well. I know it is nothing special but just thought it neat that the patent dates on it are from 1897 and 1911, about the time the first electricity flowed into homes here where I live.Who would have thunk it? a little useless fuse piqued my interest today:laughing7:....oh and yes, the fuse was blown.

HAHAHA. We found one this weekend as well! Something you don't find that much of anymore! Makes me think of my grandfather and how many of those he had to change in the dark basement of his house!:angel3:

I never thought to look close at one, even though I have thrown away countless ones. Thought that patent dates were cool but other than that...nuthin.
