A few find from this month.

Here are a few finds for the month. A little light on good coins but other finds made up for that, Lock, Key (not in same area), compact (mirror was inside but broken). If any one recognizes anything feel free to comment.

No the key does not fit. I tried. The lock has a zig zag pattern, my key is straight of the back side. Another member had posted one like it but I cannot remember who. Thought it might be a slavery cuff key? Any thoughts?

My buddy found a thicker 1 1/2" diameter rouge pot about 10 feet away just before I found the compact. For a small area this place is loaded with relics.

looks like that lock is an old railroad lock.
cool assortment of finds for sure.

I have found several of the barrel keys in the past few months.One was a railroad switch key.It was stamped NYCS across the top.The other ones were not stamped.A friend told me they were mostly used for things such as safes.Nice group of finds!
