A few finds from today

I had a few things to do today but I managed to get finished early and pop over to my fave field for a couple of hours. I decided to go down to the "button" end of the field (shaun7 & Cru know where I mean) and give that area a try. As expected I found a bunch of buttons, but also a gilt mount, a medieval folding Strap Clasp with Plate, a crushed gold plated ring, another broken ring that I'm still trying to id, a bronze key and a a piece of copper alloy with what looks like Roman numerals on it. Any way on with the pics .

I don't know mate , but after cleaning the other side more letters have shown up, I'll take this one to the museum I think
