I haven't been posting much, mainly due to the TX heat. When I'm done after a hunt I'm done lol.

Today I got out with my hunting buddy Diggin N Dumps. His user name is dead on since we pretty much dig in the worst part of our area lol

Had some promising lots, starting out hunting in the rain and then Mosquitos and the humidity.
We both were getting skunked till I get an 1907 Indian. Not even a wheat between the two of us.

We both couldn't believe it, so much shallow trash.
Got this one, because it was on top of a root.

All the other silver is from about 3 weekends worth of hunting.

We are over in the Fort Worth area. We have a lot of competition over here. They have club and a lot of retired. So getting a fresh lot is rare and random lol

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

First of all, it's Texas and it's supposed to be hot. Second, you have a nice find, third, there is a whole bunch of stuff out there in our state. I have been on digs in August(I was younger) where we stopped because we were finding so much serious stuff. Native Americam, Spanish, 1800's stage station which got remodeled later into a house. There was a creek nearby and there were two couples. Yep, swimming a la natural in the August heat. Sometimes Texas is cool. Darn I hate getting old...

good stuff, yep the heat can be tough but the thrill is in the hunt.... yeah right. so why do we keep doing it? because we want to find what is hidden in the ground!

Really nice coins. Congrats on the IHC... nice condition.

Wonderful finds!

Beautiful results of your enduring the heat! :hello2: :blob9: :hello2: Does it get any cooler when you hunt near lakes or the Gulf? Andi

you made some really nice finds
