Well I think my honey hole has been compromised. I returned there yesterday to find 3 fellow metal detecting enthusiast right on top of the sweet spot lol had good conversation and made a couple friends. I went to an area tonight that I've never been and it may be an alright spot. I dug a pretty sweet 1880 Indian head penny. 3 wheats a button that has 2 lions and says honor on a shield. Also got a little silver ring stamped SIAM STERLING. Any info on the characters on it would be greatly appreciated! Best of luck everyone and happy hunting!

Congrats on your finds and new friends :occasion14:

Looks like the start of another sweet spot.

I wonder, did your new friends happen to mention how they happen to be on top of that spot? :icon_scratch:

They live In a town east of me and the one said that he was over my way a week or so ago and seen me at this place. I guess they thought they would give it a swing to see what I missed I suppose.

Well, to each their own but, if I see someone swinging in a place that I don't usually go to, I leave it alone. Not leech. :dontknow:
