Made it back out to the dump in the woods. I planned on walking the river but the recent rains that we have had raised the level of the river and increased the flow. Instead I dug in the dump and the results were ok. First find of the day was a broken Star Springs mineral waterbottle. It's the second broken one I have dug in this dump. It took a while to find the first whole bottle. The amber Bovox contained a beef extract and was manufactured in Boston around 1895. It's not rare, but it is the first on I've seen or heard of and I have been digging a long time. After a dry spell i moved and started a new hole. First find was the Arnica & Oil Liniment missing it's top. AThe last bottle i dug was the best. The N. L. Clark Peruvian Syrup came out after a tough fight with the roots and stones that surrounded it. Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

I too like the syrup bottle. How about the blue one, does it have embossing?

Great finds! That Peruvian syrup looks fairly early. Is the top applied?
