These are all most wonderful points! These points represent the quality that any collector would be overjoyed to have in their collection. Congratulations on having some very collectable San Pats. They're beautiful!

Thanks for sharing,

That yellow material is common around here too. I know I seen several points in a feller from NW Louisiana's posts, what is it yall call that stuff?
BTW thanks for the look. San Patrice and Pelicans dont get near the attention they deserve!

Dig 'em out ! I'd really like to see them. you are right, they are an under appreciated type and in most cases under valued too.
Once you get out of east tx, la. and ms. people don't even give them a second look.

Afternoon,

Rockman...I will try and remember to pull out some points to photograph this evening. I have several San Patrice and small Dalton type points all from NW Louisiana. I love them!! Here are a few I have on my work computer...posted them before. Took skilled hands to make these from the common chert around these parts.

Happy Hunting,

Atlantis

There's some really nice ones in that group ! True, it took a very skilled knapper to make points out of those little gravel cobbles. I bet he busted his hands up quite a bit to get the hang of working that stuff. I grew up in Miss. and that was always the hope when hunting, to find a San Patrice or a close relative.

Thanks for the compliments everyone ! I had more at one time and sold some off over the years, I kept this group and a few more in some other frames. Even though I haven't added any to my collection in many years they still remain some of my favorite points.

Killer San Patrice points rockman. Those are clasic examples.

Your are just as killer Atlantis.

Thanks for sharing those with us guys.

We have a similar type here in Ohio that we call a Hardaway Point. I have a couple, but don't have any good pictures of them.

Ive posted this pic before, but there are several San Patrice, Dalton, and a couple of Pelicans here too.
