I collected stamps when I was a youngster but it seems that there is a loss of interest in it these days. I bet the ones I had may have been worth some money now but I tossed it all away when I found girls at 15...lol I like the one in the top right.

Was all the girls worth the lost of stamps? I think not.

at the time, yes but looking back ....oh what a fool I was. I even sold my second detector to fund movie dates.....ugghhh

Thanks Honest Samuel, I also collected for awhile through boyscout magazines or some publication ....and remember really enjoying the stamps from other countries....not sure where they ended up but probably would be worth a little more now....not quite as much as the 1st edition Superman comic of my father in law's that his mother threw away though. :)

The (mint condition) black Nova Scotia Queen Victoria stamp may be your most valuable
https://www.stampsandcanada.com/sta...-victoria&denomination=1-cent&stamp=352&cat=0 ,
but the most history is in the stamp featured in the 1840-1940 commemorative; as described here: https://www.allaboutstamps.co.uk/st...h-stamps-10-facts-about-the-1840-penny-black/
Don.....

Don, thank you for the resources and your input on a couple of the stamps. I need to brush up on stamp terminology :)
