You have one similar to this one:

Don....
'PS: The date (1830) on this type of medallion is not the date of issue but rather the year the Blessed Mother gave the design of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine.

As Mackaydon says, these are versions of the “Miraculous Medal” in commemoration of the Marian apparitions claimed by Sister (later Saint) Catherine Labouré in Paris during 1830. The actual design, with the cross, M, and sacred hearts was produced a few years later by the French goldsmith Adrien Vachette, based on the descriptions Catherine gave him. It wasn’t approved by the Catholic church until 1836, following a canonical enquiry to establish the validity of Catherine’s claims and has been used ever since.

The inscription (in French) reads: “O Marie, conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous” (O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee).

The reverse has the Auspice Maria symbol surrounded by the 12 stars that represent the apostles, the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus

thanks for the info now anyone know anything on the token

I believe I can make out the letters “…R?ED” running from about two o’clock to three o’clock. It seems to be the last word of that part of the legend since there appears to be a stop after the ‘D’:

This is a bit of a long shot, but if that unreadable ‘?’ is a ‘V’, this might be a patriotic Civil War token. Try Googling for <civil war token with sigel on horseback> for which there are numerous variations and see if you can find a match. These tokens often had a legend with some variation of wording along the lines of “THE UNION MUST BE PRESERVED

Might be …ARCED as the end of a word. Can’t see it clearly enough.
