First time posting in today's finds!
Started off the morning with a short hike through my woods to an old house foundation I found 2 days ago, found some weird, flower shaped sprinkler thing on the surface.

Decided to head back to my house to search my yard as I wasn't having much luck, and boy am I glad I did!
The spring thaw first yielded me with 2 wheats, a '52-D and '53-D, and then, I see this:

A 1939 Washington! In beautiful shape! And in my previously hunted yard!
Took a break after to eat, and was surprised by this fortune with my Chinese food:

Apparently that was true, as I found 4 wheats in one hole immediately after.
A '40, '44, '47, and '50.
My results:

Gave my cents a bath in hot peroxide, and my quarter got warm water and a brush.

My nicest quarter yet.
I'd say just above Very Fine.
Happy Hunting! -Joe
