It was the end of the yard sale and he was loading up stuff to bring to a local scrapyard.
He had an old instrument panel probably from an old ship yard or naval base
I paid $40 (it weighs approx 150-200lbs)
I had to borrow my Dad's truck but I figured the Knife switches AKA Franken Switches were well worth it alone.

Also got a jar of blank pennies at the same place

$5

Great buy on the pennies!

Beneath the dials are three labels. Might be able to identify if I could read them. They are too fuzzy when blown up. At a glance it might be a generator control panel.

Once the storm high is over I'll take better pictures (those fuzzy one were were from my phone camera).
I think the some of the meters were current in amps and the tube like thingys on the back are high current resistors.

Yes, sounds like a master generator control/monitor panel. I've spent too many hours in engine rooms LOL.

Yeah! I just counted them
Zinc planchets
155 of them

Funny, I was going to buy my son a couple on ebay for his coin collection
So I saved a few bucks too :)

Just an Update:
One of the Labels says

Test Panel and Resistor Bank
Built for United States Maritime Commission
1945

I was too busy trying to cover it before the storm that I didn't notice the Label

They sell for about $2 a piece on ebay.. 155 of them.. well you made some money there.
