Is there a shank on the back? That would at least identify it as a button. I posted one very similar and it was identified as a U.S. Coastal Artillery collar disc. Post WW1

it was found in Portland Oregon. Im gonna see if they can send me a picture of the back. Thanks for the help!

Looks to be a WW 1 Artillery Insignia. Maybe a collar disc.
