Left home at dark and didn't return until dark. Mind you this also includes the traffic:BangHead:.

I broke my ring record for one day with 11-1/2 rings! It was weird in that it actually seemed that I was hitting rings more than trash or clad.

The rings:
4-1/2 sterling rings. One of which has a solid 14k button in the center. The half ring is a broken sterling toe ring.

One titanium wedding band.

Two tungsten carbide wedding bands, the gold one is a Triton.

One stainless steel CTR ring with a dragonfly.

And of course 3 junkers with no hallmarks.

Also found a couple tax tokens, few foreign coins, a dollar coin, couple tokens, an old small Coca-Cola bottle (bakelite?), an old brass Tru-Flate "Cub" tire pressure gauge, some bling jewelry, a little hammer:headbang: and a load of clad.

It was a super fun hunt. The wide gold junk ring and the gold tungsten carbide were definate "cardio-testers" in that the sound and vdi numbers came in beautifully and looked amazing in the scoop. Oh, and the bling "B" pendant rang solid 45 with no scratchy variation....that also made my heart skip a beat.

This is a location that I have hunted before (last year) therefore the majority of the rings are newer drops.

Take care and happy hunting!

Wow - a great day - I bet you slept well that night :)

That last ring is a beaut!

UPDATE!

Boy you gotta love Google sometimes....
Decided to look up the little Coke bottle. Turns out it is a lighter from the 50's:headbang:.

where did you hunt, a swap meet where the jewelry table sits each week for years? i have hunted those places bec i IS smart. lol

love that coke bottle lighter. yes, google is awesome. i found a 20 lire italian coin and thought it was maybe worth millions, nope, just 20 lire. it helped me ID the coin in a few strokes of the keyboard.

That's got to be a one day ring record! Like you said, most likely recent drops, but I think it's pretty cool finding those along with the older relics. Looks like there may be some interesting history behind that site. Congrats on a nice hunt!

Awesome stuff! Congrats on a great hunt. -Lisa & John

Very nice score. Love the lighter. Never saw a corrupt the righteous ring with a dragonfly before. Congrats on a wonderful hunt

That's a neat little lighter, and your ring tally is impressive!

LOL.....I think you and I are on more pages than one brother....

Great job this a beach area ????????????? Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!

Eleven and a half Rings,, man that's a big number.
When you said " The Bling B Pendant rang a solid 45" I had to look at your arsenal.
I'm thinking that you were using the AT PRO in shallow fresh water.
Congrats on a sweet hunt

You are right.... The last time I hunted this area it was with the Excal II and it did great. But because of the delay of the Excal, I decided to use the AT Pro this time.
