A good read

Hey, I read this article last night, so bow and arrows 60000 years ago. One question, please excuse my novice understanding...so the article shows projectile points found in S Africa all that time ago, I thought I read somewhere projectile points arrowheads were unique to Natives of the Americas. Thanks for sharing

Quinn, good evening. Do not mean to be degrading at all - as others have been to me on this forum, but projectile points are not at all unique to America. They have been found in S Africa, Italy, Syria - hell, I found a nice one in Thailand in 2002. Maybe American points are unique in their composition, but projectile point arrowheads as you call them are found across the globe, friend.

Respectfully - Seadog

No harm at all taken. I’ll be the first to say, I’m always learning. Also mentioned in the read was the fact that they found poison on the tips, from way back they were doing this. All very interesting
