went to a local school with my fiance and daughter to play on the playground and pulled the md out of the trunk for just about an hourwhen it was time to go. so i pulled my last plug and WOW!! my first merc!! that made my crristmas even better than it already was.. along with it i found 2.71 in clad... the rosie was found in pa at a church the day before thanksgiving. just thought id share the two of them!!! thanks, and HH.....

You never know... that is part of the fun. Hunt for 3 hours and find nothing or find a merc in the last plug.

Any mint mark on the merc?

Congrats Fitz.
I can remember my first and it was an awsome feeling.
Keep on hunting sounds like you got some grounds that maybe has not been hunted to death.

unfortunately, no mint mark on the merc. sorry the pic is blurry.. its a 1936.. just incase anyone was wondering..
 
Congrats Fitz. sounds like a great way to spend Christmas. still looking for that elusive Merc myself.

I FOUND THEM BOTH AT ABOUT 4".. PRETTY SHALLOW FOR SILVER I THOUGHT... BUT THESE ARE THE ONLY TWO SILVERS I FOUND, SO IM NO EXPERT.. THANKS FOR LOOKING
