Found this crucifix while hunting an old hotel site with Mudswat, this hotel site was the site of a catholic high school in later years. cleaned it up the best I could, the black center is made of wood and holding his spikes in place, very well made, probably owned by one of the friars that taught there. First pic is the hotel that is no longer there.

I guess it was built in the 1840s but it has changed hands many times since.
