A little silver ( earring) ; a big silver ( "cookie coin" ) this morning at low tide.

Hi :hello:

Weather continues to be sunny, hot and humid and just fine for low tide detecting with a mild breeze out there to keep things pleasant.

Hunted 2 1/2 hrs. low tide mud .

Presently "zapping" the "mystery coin" ( tons of accumulated deposit on it)...any guesses to what it may be?

Coin tone was just a tiny "bing", but I liked the sound so I followed it, digging to about 12 Inches deep before it showed itself.

I'll finish cleaning the coin and repost the final result.

Here's some pics

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

Nice work. The mystery coin is bigger than the quarters so it'll be interesting to see what's underneath.

Cant wait to see whats under that crust...like opening up a present.

I like those mystery coins...always fun to find. :hello2:

I'm guessing a silver walker..1943 (It was a good year) :laughing7: I'm real curious at the final weight...should be close to 12.5 grams.

Big silver WTG :wav: looks like maybe a walker?

Nice job on the silver cookie coin, and silver earring. I actually found the same exact earring over the winter! :)

I just love to tap open concretions to find what is inside, makes hunting more fun when there is some investigation afterwards and I know you are a super sleuth on finds - good luck!

Really nice finds...
