I think that's looking North up Lake Pepin and between the towns of Stockholm and Maiden Rock?

Is that an impoundment? It's a great view but I didn't think The Mississippi was that wide in Wisconsin.

You're right! Actually its a few miles north of Maiden Rock looking south. It is the head of lake Pepin.
I was on my way do do a little detecting in Plum Creek, WI.
