...but at least it's silver! Hit three sites today including the never ending button hole (130 WWI and WWII buttons from this site so far) and a couple new sites. The highlight of the hunt is the little sterling brooch. May have to try to determine the maker just for fun.

Nice finds! Thanks for sharing...

I like the looks of your junk too. That is some nice stuff. Congrats on the sliver of silver.

That is a lot of military buttons (130) and congrats on your silver & other finds - thanks for sharing your pictures and story & I wish you many more treasures while out dirt fishin.

I would never complain after a hunt like that.

Maybe a tie clasp? I guess you would pin a tie?
I'd be happy finding the bell!

The bell has a rather different type of hangar.
Tie clip mentioned above sounds good.

I would take a crotal bell and some buttons over a hairslide, or whatever it is, any day. Cool finds!

I'd take a day finding junk like that any day with a silver as a bonus!!

Of course I don't consider the buttons junk...I love finding those no matter what the era. The bell is broken but mostly intact.

I like those buttons the best. Nice finds.

The hallmark on the silver pin looks like a candelabra. Your finds are awesome! Sub 8-)
