A lucky find.

I found it sitting on top of a dig from a couple of days earlier.

The rain over night must have washed it clean making it visible.

I first thought it was just an ordinary old school marble, but turns out to be a Codd bottle marble.

I didn't know they even existed until it was kindly identified on a marble forum.
Makes sense now that I put it next to the other glass I've found at the site.

Apparently considered "highly prized"
