Well mostly madisons. Thanks all for viewing my collection.
Just a few more frames and that was 20 years and countless

Nice group, I haven't found many like that in all my years of looking.

Where these scattered finds or from a the same general area? I find in my area, most archaic. When I do find madisons, these seem to come from the same find area.

Scattered in several different sites, but the bulk came from one particular field.
 

I dont know how I miss seeing this frame. That is a really nice lithic show. It appears to you have one shade of every lithic.

By the time Madison points were being made/used, a lot of formerly flourishing habitation sites were abandoned (in my part of Pennsylvania, genocided & burnt) and the remaining people were restricted to a small number of fortified sites. They are where you'll find the few Madisons that haven't been picked up already.

Funny though that ours are a lot better made than most of them I see here from other places. If I hadn't given them all to a friend when we moved so they'd stay local I could post some.
