Ouch.. that is in rough shape. I wonder if a peroxide bath will at least identify it.. but it looks like it may be too far gone. Nice job on the Merc!!

Very nice Merc. My eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be. Is it a 1920 I am seeing?
I'd be happy finding the other coin too. ANY old coin is exciting to find I think.

Thanks to all. I think the Merc is a 1920 MM but not sure. The Merc does not look near as good as the picture shows. Special lighting enhances the features.
