A nasty large cent from years gone by...

I found this at an old home site about 3 years back. Check out the word Cent. Nasty minded folks back in the day. Didn't even know that that word was used back in the 1800s. I had seen a few of these posted by others on forums before I found my own. It appears that this was a midwest area hobby. Fun of detecting is ya never know what you'll dig up. Jim

You would be surprised at the words used in the late 1800's--very common as today--
Many a rough guy and gal back then.
