Nice finds. I had never heard of a coal scatter tag before, looked it up on the web, very interesting. I basically live on top of an early 1900’s coal mine, so surprised I have never found one of these. Also very cool ice token. Nice historic saves. Congrats!!

Nice Ice token - listed in the Schenkman VA Tokens book with the comment, "During the teens these tokens were sold at a discount to customers, who could then use them as needed to purchase ice from the driver of the ice wagon. The company was purchased by C. L. Robinson Ice and Cold Storage sometime around 1920." The book lists 1¢, 10¢, & 25¢ in addition to this one. I've been finding the little foil tags all over the yard and assumed they were bottle top trash, until i found one i could read
