I was on my way home from school and seen a guy cutting grass at an empty farm house lot. This was the moment I had been waiting for. I hoped out and introduced myself and asked if he minded if I detected his property. After a short chat he granted me permission and away I went. I shot home had dinner and left for the hunt. This is the 1st hunt I have been out for in a while. I had been very busy lately and had just finished my mid terms so, a nice evening hunt was what I needed to relax. My first signal turned out to be some can slaw with a giant arrow head in the hole! LMAO! Can anyone guess how bad I freaked at first sight in the shadows? Huge disappointment that it was not an arrow head but, boy what a rush! I ended up with a fantastic hunt none the less. I pulled my 1st seated of the year(1854 dime), 2 IH Pennies, (1864 & 1898), 1 SLQ(No Date), a 1916-D Wheat,(not the 16-D I was hoping for lol), a horse buckle, toy gun, US Silver company fork, a locket, and an old Ford cap. That was the Great! The ugly was ALOT of Iron and siding scrap. My ears are still ringing. I also done around $5.00 in clad. Well time to study for my last test. Thanks for looking everyone.
PS My wife also received this silver Canadian dime in change yesterday as well. 1964.
