I went out yesterday to a site I had found on a map. I get there, holes everywhere[emoji35] I spent a hour and didn't find a thing. My days off are precious and I didn't want to get skunked. I decided to take a shot at a cellar that was on the way home. I've probably hit this a couple dozen times but I was hoping I didn't get it all. I tried the old " dig all questionable signals" method. It worked pretty good. I got another 1864 Indian along with a 1865. Then I got the usual iron ,a couple of knives,4 hole button ,rein guide and ox knobIMG_20171130_141932306-1040x780.webp Boy that knob sounded like a coin , a solid 12-43 on the CTX. The last thing was a wicked small brass buckle. I don't know what it was for ,maybe a girls doll?? I don't know if you can see it from the picture but the edge is all fancy. Geez , everything was quality back then.[emoji4] IMG_20171130_142929218_crop_344x298.webp Hope the weather holds out, deer hunting season is almost over[emoji6]

Nice assortment of finds. You're right everything used to be made to last, it's a throw away world now. Congrats on your finds and good luck.

Nice post and good finds. The IHCs are a nice looking pair of old coins.

Well done.

I always hit a cellar hole or any site many times if I can and after the first time you've gotta dig those imperfect signals. Congrats. You got some good stuff with that method. Not sure about that really small buckle. I seem to recall finding one in the past and wondering the same thing. I don't think it's to a doll. Lots of things had straps and sashes and belts of all different sizes back in the Victorian Era. I think it's just something of that nature. Nice finds!

Nice IH, and that's a cute little buckle.

Really nice detail on those Indians.
That buckle is the right size for a watch band.
Congratulations on all your finds.

Thanks! They seem to hold up better than most.

A lot of my finds lately are pounded cellars where I'm digging those signals

Nice pair of old Indian Head Cents. Cool relics. That is one really nice petite fancy buckle. I would be especially pleased with recovering that little beauty.:icon_thumright:
