It has been gorgeous in central Va. and I was able to get out a couple times this past week to some new sites and some old sites. Found a couple bullets in the old site and several items in the new site. One hole yielded the kepi buckle and two eagle cuffs which are in kind of rough shape. The J hook was close by but the best, smallest item was the watch chain pendant shown. I haven't cleaned it thoroughly yet, but its dated 1864 and I'm happy with that! Good luck to all and thanks for looking :icon_thumleft:

So you found drops and fired bullets. Looks like there was some busy people at your site at one time. Nice relics from the Civil War.
