A RARE PENNY

This is my rare find of the week while I was out shopping. I don't know if its real or not but its cool. I received this odd penny with my change. Its a 1 cent Lincoln penny. It has a line running thru one of the zeros on the year 2000. It also has a line running under the B in liberty.

Welcome to the Treasure Net forums! Nice find but not considered anywhere near rare! It is a Copper Plated Zinc Lincoln Cent which are wrought with Copper plating problems and problems with contaminants effecting the cohesion between the Copper plating and the Zinc.
