Hello everyone. It’s stupid hot down here and I’m seriously waiting for fall! I got in about a 90 minute hunt today. It was 94 degrees at sunset!😩. I found a good area that I had not hunted much and brought home some goodies. All and all my favorite find was the flintlock trigger guard. The toasted penny is an 1847, can’t make out the 3 cent piece date and a good 1855 half dime. Anyway thanks for taking a peek and the very best to you on your next hunt!

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

The area produced really well, congrats on the silver and the other recoveries.
That's just too hot to be out for an extended period of time.
It's bad enough when temps are that high, but when the ground is really hot too so there no real relief from the heat.

WOW Nice Hunt, GREAT FINDS !!! FANTASTIC PICTURES !!! Thanks for sharing

That's a great collection of finds FF! Love the seated half dime and trime. Both of these early US silvers don't pop out of the ground that often. Well done!

I used to think that Florida was a place where metal detectorists found mainly modern jewelry and coins left by tourists. But finds like yours reminded me that Florida was settled early, like the North Atlantic coast. Great finds!
