A Rear Fined last week

I found this Islamic summit coin made into a necklace...in doing some research on it..the coin...it was a limited edition coin that was made for a summit in Pakistan in 1977..the coin is worth about $150...not sure its worth that know with what has been done to it...someone made a necklace out of it with some red and green stones,maybe rubies and emeralds....most of them are missing...how the heck did something like that get from Pakistan to a park in Oroville Ca.....

Without seeing the reverse side (where the denomination is) I'll guess the coin is copper versus gold.
