Okay...I know I just posted yesterday...but what the heck. After all, this is the “Today's Finds” forum.

So I was very excited to hit the Berg again for the first time in about 7 months. The brush is still kinda bad in spots, but the wheatfield area was still huntable as usual in the woods. Got there at 6:30am (and by the way, it's an HOUR drive) and used moonlight to help me determine whether my first coins were wheats or memorials. It felt great. I felt like I was on a camping trip all day.
I made the rounds of the site and sqeaked a few silvers here and there. Nothing very old, but that's okay. Hunted about 8 hrs total.

In this pic, I had just spent about 2 hrs mining for wheats in the wheatfield. Got about 15 or 20 right here in this patch. I detected the area before I dug it up, and noted that there were only maybe 3 or 4 signals that would have been questionable or that would have convinced me to dig. See, that's why I excavate here. It's also a nice way to pick up marbles.

A nice silver ring that's pretty small; a nice 1924 buff, and 34 wheats

Those wheaties look so pretty all arranged in a row like that. Nice spot you have there, Nate. That silver ring is pretty too. Congrats on the silvers and the marbles. Great pics, I enjoyed this story.

Yep, and especially from all the excavation/sifting like I mentioned regarding that pic.

Interesting. It's a real small ring, but it's pretty cool.

Thanks for the comments guys!
