A shoe buckle with some bling!

A short hunt today at a new permission. 1825 cobblestone house! The first hit was screaming at me, thought it was a coin. I see silver in the hole... Turns out it looks like part of a shoe buckle made of brass with silver wash or plating? About a half hour later I pulled a second piece of the same buckle!! Also found a couple buttons - domed eagle and a basket weave. The flower gardens were littered with pottery shards and glass, pontil glass! The trash was an over load, dig it all. Going back soon to find the other piece of the shoe buckle. Happy Digging!
