Got out for a few yesterday got a WWII silver badge pin, and a chinese coin dont no how old the coin is i will have to do some reaserch looks like someone took a hammer to it....

Ah, that badge you found was a u.s. military badge that would have the types of guns they were qualified to shooton those 2 little loops at the bottom. My grandfather had one. Cool finds!
 
The US Army had three ranks of weapons qualifications, Expert, Sharpshooter and Marksman. That is the Marksman's badge
 
Nice finds !! Congrats !! Here is a pic of the Marksman I found at a WWII training ground used from the 40s to the early 60s,it is also sterling and would have hung from your cross. I have found the cross part ,like yours,at a different area than the silver part, but my cross is potmetal? not silver. I believe they quit making them out of silver around 1958 .
