Hi folks, I give up on this one. Maybe you can help. Found this in a park, nothing on the beach. In between the size of a quarter and a nickel. Looks to be brass. It has a doublr 'Rampant Lions" surrounded by a creast of leaves with the initial "RWM" on the bottom. The other side just as wierd. A button? Beats me. Maybe I need to ask Mark. Nothing on the other side and no other markings. Appreciate any help.

According to a quick Google search; these tokens are used in place of modern money at Medevil or Renaissance fairs.

trade coinage used as money --at events --sold for real money * acccepted as "real" money by folks there and later "redeemed"with the coin seller for cash by the traders -- spare trade money goes home as "sovies" --thus turning a bit of profiet for the coin sellers. --no "trade back" value for unspent coins for joe adveragem so it tends to be spent for stuff--

I thought this looked familar but couldn't put my finger on where I saw these. thanks..........
