A Tennessee "Dream" Weekend
Sorry folks, not the State of Tennessee; the Tennessee Volunteers basketball teams.
This past Saturdau eight of us drove from Nashville to Chattanooga to board on of 4 buses and traveled to Athens, GA to watch the Tennessee men play the Georgia Bulldogs.
The first photo is some pudgy guy who is "supposedly" losing weight. I'm told he actually is; just isn't showing yet.

This next photos is the Volunteer's premier men's player, Chris Lofton, scoring a three. Can you find the ball?

Here's a photo of Coach Bruce Pearl with the team during a timeout.

And of course, a shot of the scoreboard after the game.

After the game we hung around for the post-game radio show before boarding the buses and heading back home.

On Sunday, 7 of us then met at Memorial Gymnasium to watch the Lady Vols play Vanderbilt.
Here's the start of the game:

And a shot of the Lady Vols' premier player, Candace Parker, shooting a three. It's a bit harder but can you find the ball in this photo?

And a shot of Coach Pat Summit, her staff, and the team during a timeout:

And finally, the final score. "Turn out the lights, the party's over!"

And to top it off, I was home in time to watch the final 14 laps of the Daytona 500!
