My daughter bought three storage units. She found WW2 medals and an old tin with coins and paper money.

The 'battleaxe' French coin (without a mintmark= Paris) was minted in two varieties
In 1943 they reduced the weight of this coin. The common version makes around 1.3 gr and is worth around 1 $.
Some coins have been minted with the heavy dies used before and are around 1.6 gr. They are very rare and expensive.
If you want an ID on any coin, post pics of both sides here and we should be able to ID it; that includes the bills.
