Evening Beep: Sigh, what can I say? I started out in the Guadalcanal campaign in Aug 1942 and ended up in Mactan Cebu, the Philippines. I was on my way home when it terminatd. I was at Kwajalein.

What they don’t show, and is very rarely spoken of, is the terrible boredom in between battles. Those that were there will know precisely what I mean.
