A tree that is 200+ years old and farm field today

I started a short hunt today in a farm field i got a axe head ? not sure, some wheats and lots of iron and copper things i started digging all signals for a change amazing whats in the ground tomorrow ill try that tree first you can barley see my DFX up against it :laughing7: I posted a few pics of todays place and find Good Hunting Dd60

That looks just like the ax head I found last year. From the research I did it appeared to be an "American" ax, And just like yours the one side on mine is smashed down. I believe they used it as a wedge when it outgrew it's usefullness as an ax.

Thats my 5th axe head i dug since early March i guess people lost a lot of those back in the good ole days Dd60

The owner of the property who is in his early 80,s told me when he was a kid there was already a tree house his Dad and Granddad built in that tree so there's gotta be something good hiding on and under those roots Dd60

That tree probably ate any coins that were dropped over the span of that 200 years. ::) That's a beast.
