I know the Cheyenne had dog soldiers,not the sioux.But,the sioux and cheyenne were close allies,close enough for intermarriage,etc.Dog soldiers were highly militaristic and aggressive.If there was a war,they were there:laughing7:
I was just clarifying for those who might not know that. Some people say if the soldiers just came in to talk there wouldn't have been a fight. (kinda doubtful) Another thing overlooked is Sitting Bull specifically said not to mutilate or take anything from the soldiers bodies, just kill them if they had to and let them lay. That didn't happen, so I wonder if bad things came of that?

I doubt it too:laughing9:They didnt go there to talk anyway,you know it, i know it.:laughing7:Even if it was written,mentioned, in your run of the mill school history books.LMAO.The same books that distort history. Yup bad things happened.Wounded knee,and to this day they still need permission to leave the reservation.
