Afternoon everyone. Just finished up an exciting box of nickels. Obviously part of a collection dump from the age and condition of some of the coins. First keeper was a nice war nickel. Then i saw something that i haven't seen in a year, a V nickel dated 1900. Either that roll or one of the next i pulled 2 V nickels and a war nickel out of the same roll! Then a little while later i turn one roll over and there's a V reverse ender. Exciting box for sure!
Totals for the box were 10-V nickels,3 war nickels and a half dozen very nice 1938-1940 Jeffersons. I'm going to re-search the ones i already went through to see if i missed anything.
From left to right top.( 38,38,39,38,40,40)
From left to right center(1905,1900,1904,1908,1907)
Next Row (1911,1911,1902,1908,18??)
Bottom row (43-P,44-P,43-S)
None of the V nickels grade better then good. I don't think i've ever found more then 2 V nickels in a box and i've searched many 100s of boxes. Thanks for reading, good luck in your searches. MM2
