I made a visit yesterday to a little mine up in the area of Colorado's first discoveries of gold in the later 1850s. There are quite a few old abandoned minesites scattered through the hills, but here recently 4 little mines along the Rocky mountain front range have begun to once again come alive. These pictures are just some old sites that look to be given up on years ago.
