Found this marked sterling and tiger eye (?) ring yesterday in the parking lot of a local store. It had been run-over unfortunately, but straightened out nicely!

Went to a couple of schools today, enjoying in the gorgeous weather and soft soil. Dug this ring from 8" down marked, " U with an arrow through it (Uncas?) Sterling, Pat. Pending." I rarely see that on jewelry.

Found another copper ring with a blue stone.

This item may be a bling ring with an expandable/flexible band, or a hair tie, any help appreciated. All the parts were in the hole but the elastic band connecting them all was deteriorated.

The rest of the goodies consisted of a few kiddie pendants, a wide kiddie ring, and a key used to turn a square nut, about 3 1/2" long.

Thanks for peeking, I hope all of my TNet friends had an opportunity to get out and dig this weekend. Sub 8-)

Thanks A2, I invested in a steel ring mandrel and a nylon-head hammer to gently straighten out rings. Luckily, silver and gold are malleable and straighten out without much risk! Sub 8-)

Good eyeball find and nice work straightening the ring back. Nice day out for you. Congrats!

Nice stuff...…...

Wow very nice rings! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice rings Sub. That is a tigers eye stone. We used that stone a lot back in the 70's when my mom and dad were into Lapidary, and we used it to make a lot of jewelry.

Nice job straightening the ring. Congrats on all the nice saves.
