Ace 250 is on it's way

I've never done any metal detecting before, but take my son(mattkoz) to places all the time. He got an Ace 250 a few months ago. Everytime we go, I have the urge to rip the Ace out of his hands and do some hunting on my own. So I made a decision. I just sold one of my guitars and ordered an Ace 250 for myself. Now Matt and I can go detecting together which should be tons of fun. I just found a local MD club and we're gonna join it. I'll be posting my adventures.

I hope it comes in today. Tomorrow my son is having a soccer tournament that's going to take up the whole day. It would be nice to do some MDing between games.

The 250 came late Monday afternoon. The family and I are doing a mini-vacation trip to Washington/Baltimore and won't be able to try it out until Thursday. Thursday night I'm taking my son(mattkoz) out, who also has a 250, and we're going to do some father/son detecting. Can't wait.

my ace 250 has more than paid for itself
with all of the clad, silver and few gold
pieces of jewerly that ive found with it.

Hop you guys have hours and hours of fun together. There is nothing better then getting out with your son or daughter and spending time together....Matt

I just ordered my first detector about five minutes ago, its the ACE 250. I will be using it my local area for learning purposes and them its off to Germany with several friends in May of next year for some WWII hunting. This is the plan and I hope it happens, I am great at making glorious plans and watching them crumble.
