Pick this the other day. Took a shot it being vintage but I tried to date it & it is more difficult than expected.
Any whistle guru's out there?

Probably not the exact date of that one, but here’s what a quick google search got me

Difficult to date I'm afraid unless engraved for a particular use, in a presentation case, or one of their fancier editions. They still make them today in essentially the same pattern:
