added a new tool to the aresenal

Hello all,
Well I just added an ACE 250 to the equipment list. It should arrive on Wednesday. I purchased it basically for the rugrats to use on our family hunts and to add a second weapon to the arsenal. I know there are a ton of members here that use them. Does anyone have any helpful hints for using it. Any quarks that I should be aware of? I thought long and hard about it and read tons of posts relating to this detector. It sure sounds like a good detector for backup and for teaching my youngsters on. My XLT is a little heavy and big for them to lug around. Hoping this will work better for them.

Any hints and/or comments would be helpful and appreciated
