Advice on where to buy

I'm looking to buy my first detector, I have about $300 to spend. I was wondering if there were any suggestions on where i should buy from. Are there any big differences in the different dealers?

I can personally recommend a BH Platinum, which I have been using for a year. I can find no down side for the $300 price.
