Seen both bands at same time period, just different cities.

I never passed up an REO show in 70s and 80s, I was a big Gary Richrath fan and back then we still had festival seating at many of their shows so getting up close was easy if you got there early, we would get 10-20 feet from stage center.

REO played a lot of live shows in 70s and 80s in the Midwest and I lived and worked there all through 70s and 80s.

Only got to see Aerosmith once. 😢

This was my theme song in late 70s and 80s as I was a road warrior then.

I've Seen Aerosmith at Least 3 Times .
it is Possible I've Seen them More.
Since We always tried for In front of the Stage there was no Interest in Wasting time to get my stub. That Precious Spot Down Front was Important

Same with REO

in Both cases I Thought They Sucked Live, So used to Studio Tapes . However If I Knew they Playd I Was There:laughing7:

That "Spot" was worth it's weight in gold to us then. Studio albums had the fine finesse, but the live shows had the high energy.

Bands like Outlaws, Zepplin, Rod Stewart, Skynyrd, Stones, ZZ Top, Bad Company, 38 Special, Jethro Tull, Who, Meat Loaf, and so many other band's albums I saw were good, but their live shows were kick-ass, high energy experiences. Of course there was also the party before, during, and after the shows........😁🤣

Bands I have seen Aerosmith 3 times Ozzie Black Sabbath 2 Eagles 1 Elton John 1 UFO 1 Nazareth 2 Foghat 2 Eddie money 1 Grateful Dead 2 Rolling stones 2 Red hot chili Peppers 1 Almost forgot KISS 3 times lol.

That spot got me escorted out of a very fine establishment when I went to see Motley Crue. Vince Neil dropped his pants and mooned us. I swear I was close enough if he’d farted it would have parted my hair. A fight broke out around me and we were all escorted out. Last time I went up to the front, people get crazy up there.

Any body remember KLOS that was my Rock & Roll radio station I listened to in SoCal lol they gave away good concert tickets and stuff. I won the Stones tickets twice, and 2 tickets to ZZ Top which I could not go to and 2 tickets for Journey and could not make it to that concert either Bummer lol.
