Heres a pic of area we went to a couple of times. We visited with the locals. You can see
a cemetery on the right side. They bury dead above ground. Another village in background along with a MRAP (mine resistant ambush protected vehicle) called the MATV which I drove 75% of the time while in theatre. The rest of time I either did dismounted patrols or gunned.
