Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I found Tnet while I was researching detectors, way back in my Ft. Myers Era. Since then, I’ve cleaned out all the silver in town, scored a couple Honorable Mentions, and somehow made two Banner Finds! Also, who here remembers that I actually NAMED a metal detector? I miss my Deteknix Quest Pro, may it rest in pieces.
Now that I’ve “retired” to a simpler life here in the Mountains, I’m happy to hunt older dirt, alas not as much as I used to. I’m still hoping to find a gold coin, and my bucket list of coins I’ve yet to find is still pretty long.
I love this hobby of detecting, and it’s because of all of you. Thanks to all of you, my friends on the Net, I love this site.

Now don’t go getting all mushy on us

But seriously it’s been great knowing you over the years

Time sure does fly. I posted my intro back on Fed 11, 2013. Well enjoy that retirement and I sure hope you find that gold coin out there someday.

Always thought you were cool, BWD. Hey, wanna be 'retired' and live in the real mountains? Come on out here and I can get you a job in about 3 days, haha!

BWD,
Congrats on being here for ten years and your many contributions.
All the best to you and yours on this Thanksgiving Day.
Don in SoCal.
Thanks Don!

Thanks Jeffy! You’ve become quite the treasure hunter yourself!

Maybe in the spring, it’s getting cold now!

I’ve hunted the Rockies before, I got winded!

.....and you forgot to mention that tattoo that shows just how committed you are to this great outdoor hobby, can you show us again.

Congrats on your 10 year mark Dave, I often wondered what happened to that detector you won. 8-) FYI I will be retiring this June, i still love to detect, its more of a hobby now rather than an obsession.

Congrats on the 10yr mark of sticking/supporting the forum, and certainly your retirement of not being a timeclock puncher any longer.
Best of luck with the gold coin pursuit-it does happen when one least expects it.

Hoping so Mr J!

Congrats on retirement! I've got about ten years left before I can turn off the alarm clock.

It’ll be here before you know it!

Well said and we are glad your here! Good luck with your retirement and hope you find 2 gold coins!!
Honestly, I can’t decide what I want more, a gold coin, or hole-in-one. I deserve one of them, don’t I?
